”Readymade Sounds” is a captivating solo performance/happening by Ryan Mason that transports the audience into the vibrant and chaotic world of ADHD. Through a unique blend of dance, spoken word, and the use of everyday objects, the performance showcases the dynamic interaction between human and non-human forces in an intricate reality.
“It’s intended to function as a magical flashlight – something that could reveal the pathways between concrete and abstract materiality. Here, the subject experiences the gooey liminality lurking between thoughts and actions, objects and things, time and space—a thinking body in dialogue with a living space engaged in a repetition of perception.”
