Songscape

Songscapes encompasses moments of togetherness and inspiration, through sharing music by Loïca, Manu Rosales, and Devina Boughton. They bring original song compositions, showing the multiplicity of sound landscapes that a song can have.

Welcome to share in this evening with us!

Doors will open at 18:30 and at 19:30 each musician will perform their set.

This event is free, with a suggested contribution “give what you can” to support the artists. See you there!

ARTIST BIOS:

Manu Rosales

With a contemporary and original perspective over songwriting, drawing from Argentine folklore, Andean melodies and Brazilian rhythms, Manu’s style of song composition dissolves borders. His guitar-playing and introspective lyrics invite listeners into a space where songs are a bridge to poetical exploration of identity, everyday life, travel chronicles, and social-political metaphors.

Devina Boughton

Inspired by artists such as Sufjan Stevens, boygenius, and Juhani Kuolevaisen sielu ja teot, Devina shares songs that are poetic and personal. Drawing on both rawness and intentionality, real and imagined moments, feelings and perspectives, they try to create important spaces for reflection, connection, and being present through song, sound, and shared space.

LOICA

Loïca (Ángela Valenzuela) is a Chilean singer, composer and human ecologist. Music is her refuge to stay grounded, create sonic resilience and connect with the wonders of life. She is currently based in Helsinki where she studies Global Music at Sibelius Academy.
