ANHEL
Anhel is a collaboration work and a duet of saxophonist Marc Vilanova and dancer Nella Turkki exploring the feeling of longing.
Longing makes us being connected to something, is it a place, country, other person, culture, idea, nature or something deeper that we can not even describe and which always exist in out life. In the same time it takes our feet away from the place we are. It’s a string between physical being and the dreams.
What is between them? and how long is the distance? Is it possible to reach both of them in the same moment?
Anhel works without words exploring longing with music, movement and connection between musician, dancer and spectator creating language where logic is not the way towards understanding.
