Duo Cassag Feat. Émilie Girard-Charest

Welcome to an improv performance by Duo Cassag formed by siblings Natalia and Sergio Castrillón on harp and cello respectively. This time the marvellous Canadian cellist Émilie Girard-Charest will join the duo for a couple of sets.

Natalia is a classical trained harpist interested in jazz, world music and improvisation. Currently takes part of the GLOMAS Master program at the Sibelius Academy.

Sergio is a classical trained cello performer and composer who works as an active improviser and sound artist. Currently he carries out his Doctoral research called ”New directions in the cello timbre” at the University of Helsinki.

Émilie is a classical trained cello performer-composer focused on contemporary music and improvisation. Currently she carries out her masters in the program CoPeCo (Contemporary-Performance-Composition) at the Lyon conservatory.
