As with most games, this one is also played by its own set of rules. Vocal painting sign language provides the framework for this fully improvised concert, creating a space where we play with melodies, textures, and words. The audience is also invited to contribute their ideas to this collective experience, where anything is possible.

Expect an electric presence, bold contrasts, and unpredictable turns that will surprise both the audience and the singers. How does a choir navigate a situation where music is created in the moment, without the safety net of a score or countless hours of rehearsal?

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Musta lammas is an expressive choir consisting of twenty-four professional musicians led by Ida Olsonen. The group’s singers are united by the desire to bring high-quality rhythmic music to the Finnish a cappella field. The group is defined by a tight sense of groove and distinctive arrangements and compositions made by the members. Musta lammas has been an invited performer at major vocal festivals in for example New York and Aarhus. In 2025, the choir was a featured artist at Leading Voices Festival in Tallinn and Lund Choral Festival.
