Incredible musician Peppe Frana, will introduce to us sound of Ottoman music.
”People from the Sea” are those people that come from all areas around the Mediterranean Sea: from Arab countries, to the Balcans, to Italy, South Spain, South France, North Africa and so forth. These people share a special sound. The sound of the oud (or liuth) and the frame drums. Dancing rhythms and colorfull tones (maqamat).
