Concert / performance with Paola Livorsi (composition and live electronics), Marek Pluciennik (live cinema projections), Giorgio Convertito & Vera Lapitskaya (dance makers), Jousitus ensemble, Viktor Toikkanen (sound engineer).
The music will combine spoken voices and string instruments, together with the rhythms and timbres of analog projectors, electronically modified. The musicians and dancers will explore the space with their bodies and voices.
The event is the fourth artistic presentation of Livorsi’s doctoral project ”Human voice and instrumental voice: a comparative study in timbral content”, Centre for Music and Technology, University of the Arts Helsinki. With the kind support of Kordelin Foundation and Sibelius Academy Foundation.
