Svamp improvisation workshop
Äänen Lumo and SVAMP welcome you to a workshop by St. Petersburg based saxophonist, improviser and composer Ilia Belorukov!
Place: Vapaan Taiteen Tila (Vilhovuorenkuja 16, 00500 Helsinki)
Time: Saturday October 24, 11:00-15:00
The workshop consists of two parts and is based on a broad theme of ”Contemporary Improvised Music”.
First part is of ”theoretical” nature in which the following topics will be discussed:
-ontology of Contemporary Improvised Music
-past, present and future of CIM
-its directions and genres
-its labels, concerts, festivals, education
Second part consists of practical playing excercises & graphic scores.
The workshop is open to anyone with a background or interest in experimental/improvised/noise music(s).
